NC College Conference of Professional Preparation in Physical Education and Health Education

The purpose of this College Conference is: (1) to study and promote standards for adequate professional preparation of teachers and other professionals in physical education and health education; and (2) to serve as a working conference, to enhance and supplement the activities of the NCAAHPERD-SM. Meetings take place annually on the 2nd Friday in September following Labor Day.

The conference is a great opportunity to meet and interact with other health and physical education teacher preparation professionals throughout the state.

The 2015 NC College Conference will be held September 18th at High Point University. Information on the conference agenda will be posted here as it becomes available.

  • Online pre-registration is $25 through Wednesday, September 16, 2015.
  • Only onsite registration will be available after September 17. 
  • Onsite registration is $30. 
  • Onsite registration is from 9:30 am – 10:00 am.
  • The conference program begins at 10 am.
  • Your lunch is included in the conference registration fee.

Directions to Wilson Commerce building on-campus.

The preferred entrance is University Avenue. They can still enter campus from N. College by taking a right on Montlieu Avenue, stop at the welcome center, continue down Montlieu Ave and enter in through the University Avenue entrance, (near the School of Ed.) go around the fountain, stay straight, turn a right on Panther Avenue and park behind Wilson Commerce, most likely. Meeting location will be Wilson ballroom on the main floor.

You can also enter campus from Lexington by turning onto W. College, continue on W. College until you come to a welcome center, continue straight through campus until you come to a 4-way stop, go straight and Wilson Commerce will be on your right with parking behind, most likely.  Meeting location will be Wilson ballroom on the main floor.

Security will be aware of this event, so they will be able to tell guests where to park once they arrive at any welcome center.
