 ce designed to enhance the teaching practices of physical education prof

 ned experts in the field of health and physical education.\n\nInnovative
  Ideas: Exposure to the latest research, best practices, and innovative
  teaching strategies.\n\nNetworking Opportunities: Opportunities to con
 nect with other physical education professionals from across the country
 .\n\nContinuing Education Credits: Earn valuable continuing education c
 redits to maintain professional certifications.\n\nObjective: The Insti
 tute aims to equip physical educators with the knowledge and skills nece

  Playground” Pre-Conference Seminar! ($75): We will have a limited se
 ating opportunity for those individuals wanting to learn more about AI (
 Artificial Intelligence in H/PE). This will take place on Wednesday, Jul
 y 22nd, from 1:00 - 5:00 PM in Mountain View at the Sherrill Center on t
 he campus of UNC Asheville. \n\n* Also, a special AI Track of 6 additio
 nal breakouts will be featured throughout this year’s event. Each will

 we have been able to secure a very talented line-up of outstanding platf
 orm speakers who include:\n\nAndy Vasily: Andy Vasily is a highly respec
 ted physical education teacher, educational consultant, and curriculum c
 oordinator known for his extensive work in international education. Orig
 inally from Windsor, Ontario, Canada, he trained at the University of Wi
 ndsor and has taught at International Baccalaureate (IB) schools in coun
 tries including Japan, Azerbaijan, Cambodia, China, and Saudi Arabia. Cu
 rrently, he serves as the PYP (Primary Years Programme) Coordinator at A
 ntwerp International School in Belgium.\n\nDr. Teri Schlosser: Dr. Teri
  Schlosser is an Assistant Professor and Health Promotion Advisor at The
  University of North Carolina at Pembroke (UNCP), based in the Departmen
 t of Kinesiology at the Jones Health and Physical Education Center. Teri
  is the current President of NC SHAPE and will be our Lead Presenter on 
 “Everything AI."\n\nTom Filline: Tom Filline is an elementary school 
 physical education (PE) teacher based in Chicago, Illinois. He is best k
 nown for his social media persona, "The Angry Gym Teacher," where he sha
 res humorous sketches and parodies about teacher life and parenting, ama
 ssing millions of views and a large following (over 190,000 on TikTok an
 d 115,000 on Instagram). Filline began performing stand-up comedy in 201
 5 after training at iO Chicago and The Second City Conservatory. He has 
 performed at notable comedy clubs like Zanies and is part of the Bored T
 eachers Comedy Tour. His comedic style draws from his experiences as a P
 E teacher, a father of twins, and a former professional wrestler and imp
 roviser. \n\nBo Shappell: Bo Shappell is a health and physical educati
 on teacher at Daniel Boone Area High School in Pennsylvania, with over 1
 6 years of experience in education. Shappell is a co-founder of Wellnes
 s Education Integrated (WE Integrated) and COMCHI, organizations that pr
 ovide workshops and products like COMCHI cards to foster SEL in classroo
 ms. He has co-authored a book with his wife, Daniella Land, titled All 
 In: The Mindset of Fitness, which emphasizes a holistic approach to well
 ness. He is also a certified personal trainer through the American Counc
 il on Exercise (ACE) and has served as a middle school baseball, footbal
 l, and wrestling coach.\n\nEach will be tasked with delivering an except
 ional keynote, a 45-minute activity session, and a classroom session!\n\
 nPlus a Guest Cadre of Fantastic Presenters! Joining this group will be
  a hand-selected cadre of 12 National & International Presenters and Soc
