High School Teacher of the Year
College/University Teacher of the Year
Adapted Physical Education Teacher of the Year

Elementary, middle, and high school TOYs advance to compete for similar honors in the Southern District AAHPERD. If chosen Southern District TOY, the honoree competes for the national TOY, which is presented at the national AAHPERD Convention.

Criteria:

Member of NCAAHPERD-SM and the NCPEA.
Demonstrates evidence of excellence in teaching physical education and dedication to the mission and principles of the NCPEA and NCAAHPERD-SM.
