NCAAE Mission

The purpose of the North Carolina Association for Athletic Education (NCAAE) is to provide learning experiences for athletic educators, which will assist them in attaining and maintaining the knowledge and skills to provide optimum athletic education for their students.

"Middle School Monday" is July 16, 2018

During the 2018 NC Coaches Clinic and All-Star Week (July 16 - July 19, 2018)

Joint Project: NCAAHPERD-SM President-Elect Deanna Morris is pleased to announce that the NC Athletic Education Association and the NC Coaches Association is offering "Middle School Monday" Coaching Development Sessions during the 2018 North Carolina Coaches Clinic. This is a full day of sessions geared specifically toward middle school coaches. Please plan on attending the following terrific sessions:

9:50-10:40 AM:  Scott Barringer's "Do's and Do Not's of Athletic Injuries for Middle School Coaches"
10:45-11-35 AM:  Deanna Morris' "Players, Parents, Coaches, Officials, Spectators, Oh My!! Best Practices on Relating to All Stakeholders"
11:40-12:30 PM:  Bobby Hill's "Strategies for Strengthening Your Middle School Sports Program"
2:00-2:50 PM:   Richard Hatley's "Why am I Here?  Why Do I Coach?"
2:55-3:45 PM:  Burt Jenkins' "Middle School Handbook Update"
4:00-4:45 PM:  Middle School Athletic Director's Meeting

NCAAE Awards

NCAAE awards are presented at the NCAAHPERD-SM Convention!  Come and join us as we honor our award winners! We are very proud of them, and we know you will be too!

Deadline:  The deadline for all NCAAHPERD-SM awards is June 10 of the current year.

Please take a minute to think of coaches and athletic directors you feel are deserving of recognition.
