The NC SHAPE Friends Foundation was established in 1989 to raise funds for worthwhile projects of the NC SHAPE membership. It was decided that the Friends Foundation would have a total of over $10,000 before any monies would be awarded. In 1994, the $10,000 minimum was met and surpassed. Since then, Friends have awarded more than $25,000 in grants to NC SHAPE Members for worthy projects and endeavors.
Currently, the Friends Foundation committee is prepared to review applications and proposals for grants, scholarships, and projects to be awarded at the annual convention.
Levels of Giving: Contributor: $25. Donor: $100. Sponsor: $250. Patron: $500. Benefactor: $1000.
