NCAAHPERD sends out a hardy "Congratulations!" to Carol Smith and Freddie-Lee Heath. During the Southern District AAHPERD Representative Assembly recently held in Orlando, Florida, Carol and Freddie-Lee were elected to offices on the Southern District Board of Directors. Carol Smith of Elon University and current President-elect of NCAAHPERD, was elected as Vice President-elect of the Sport and Leisure Division. Freddie-Lee Heath of Wake County Schools and Past President of NCAAHPERD, was elected as Vice President-elect of the Dance Division.
In a separate action, Southern District President Daivid Fleming appointed current NCAAHPERD Executive Director and Past President Donna Woolard to the SDAAHPERD Board as Convention Manager for the joint SDAAHPERD and National AAHPERD Convention to be held in Charlotte during April of 2013.
