Ken Rudisill, affectionately called “The Duke” by NCAAHPERD members, has been selected to receive the George Williams Award for volunteer excellence by the Lincoln County YMCA.

The George Williams Award is annually given by YMCA branches in memory of George Williams, founder of the YMCA, in recognition of the outstanding volunteer service of those who come after him. Ken will receive the award at a dinner honoring volunteers from the greater Charlotte area on Monday, March 19, 2012.

The NCAAHPERD family is very familiar with the selfless volunteerism of Ken Rudisill. We are used to seeing Ken around the convention registration desk helping his wife, Registration Manager Linda Harrill Rudisill. Whether it is carrying boxes, stuffing convention bags, or picking up convention guests from the airport, year-in-year-out, Ken pitches in with generosity and enthusiasm.

It is with genuine pleasure that we congratulate Ken for being honored by the YMCA!
