A Message from the New Executive Director

Hello NCAAHPERD Members,

I would like to introduce myself to those of you I did not get to meet in Charlotte at the AAHPERD convention, and to tell all of you how excited and honored I am to be your Executive Director. NCAAHPERD has an extremely long and distinguished history of service to the people of NC and I am looking forward to helping you continue that mission.

My entire career has been spent in service to youth and families, primarily with the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Hampton Roads in Norfolk, VA and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Pitt County in Greenville, NC where I spent the last 18 years as their Executive Director. My wife is originally from Raleigh and my son, his wife, and my two small grandchildren live just down the road in Holly Springs, so it was time to move here and be a more involved grandfather!

I look forward to working with each of you and ask that you please reach out to me if I can be of any assistance to you, or if you would like me to meet with you and your associations. The best ways to reach me now are through my email, <!--&MailTo(jay@ncaahperd.org)-->, or the office phone, (919) 833-1219x1002.

Thank you for all that you do for NCAAHPERD, and all the people that benefit from your efforts!

Sincerely,

Jay
