Sport Management Mission
The purpose of the North Carolina Sport Management Coalition is to promote and advocate for the sport management profession and to provide learning experiences and professional development for its members and future professionals.
Sport Management Awards
The Sport Management awards are presented at the NC SHAPE Convention! Come and join us as we honor our award winners! We are very proud of them, and we know you will be too!
Deadline: The deadline for all NCAAHPERD-SM awards is May 1st of the current year.
Recipients of the Sport Management Educator of the Year award must be members of the NCSMC and NC SHAPE.
The Sport Management Professional of the Year is not required to be a member of the NCSMC or NC SHAPE.
Both NCSMC honorees must be dedicated to promoting and advocating for the sport management profession and to providing learning experiences and professional development for its members and future professionals.
The Alliance partners with other organizations that have common goals and interests. We encourage you to support their work as well as ours as together we strive to create a healthier, more creative, and active North Carolina.
