The purpose of the annual College Conference of Professional Preparation in Physical Education and Health Education is: (1) to study and promote standards for adequate professional preparation of teachers and other professionals in physical education and health education; and (2) to serve as a working conference, to enhance and supplement the activities of the NCAAHPERD-SM. Meetings take place annually on the 2nd Friday of September following Labor Day.
This annual event is a great opportunity to meet and interact with other health and physical education teacher preparation professionals throughout the state. The 2018 NC College Conference will be held September 14th at Embassy Suites Hotel in Winston-Salem.
