Keith Kraemer Confirmed as Vice President-elect of NC SHAPE

NC SHAPE is proud to announce that Keith Kraemer has been confirmed as Vice President-elect of NC SHAPE. Keith will assume the office of Vice President after the 2021 Convention in March of 2022.

More About Keith: Keith has 22 years of experience as a teacher and Central Office Administrator. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education from Wingate University. For 15 years, he served as a Physical Education Teacher. He is currently in his seventh year as a District Level Resource Teacher working for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. Keith has made many notable contributions to the profession including his work with Action Based Learning; co-creating B3: Brain. Body. Behavior and serving as a co-host of the "Pizza & PE Podcast" that he helped develop.

Additionally, Keith has presented at numerous local, state, and national conferences highlighting the significance of integrating movement with core content instruction and providing participants with research-based strategies and resources to improve the quality of physical education. Recently, Keith's mission is to share the science of Adverse Childhood Experiences to enhance teachers’ aptitude with providing trauma-informed support for students; he is passionate about addressing the physical and emotional needs of children and helping them learn coping strategies as they work to overcome adversity.
